MEDIA GURU COMMUNICATIONS GETS ITS BRAND ON BRICK

Wake Forest, North Carolina (June 23, 2010) - Media Guru Communications, LLC was the first company to conceptualize and develop government channel programming for the Town of Wake Forest; a partnership that provided citizen and municipal information and resources to the community.   

Today, Media Guru Communications' name is carved in brick along the walk way entrance of the new town hall facility in Wake Forest, in support of the town's Centennial Celebration. The paved brick serves as a symbol for the company's CEO, Charles Martin.  "Our business is founded on the concept that community and business' are connected. We have always shot for the stars with our customers, large and small.  This reminds us of one of the many things we brought to this community."

Media Guru Communications has provided national and international marketing industry award-winning corporate and service videos to the town, as well as pre-recorded and post-produced monthly government programming to the town's communications department.

SISTERS WITHOUT BOUNDARIES BRINGS HIV/AWARENESS FORUM TO WAKE COUNTY ADULTS AND TEEN

Wake County, North Carolina (February 2, 2010) - On Saturday, February 20, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Sisters Without Boundaries in partnership with YWCA of the Greater Triangle, will host a discussion and presentation on HIV/AIDS as part of HIV/AIDS awareness.

Media Guru Communications provided pro-bono creative communications services to the organization in the form of writing press releases, media relations, designing and printing brochures and posters, and producing an Internet and broadcast television public service announcement.

MEDIA GURU COMMUNICATIONS WINS INTERNATIONAL AWARD OF DISTINCTION

Wake Forest, North Carolina (May 26, 2009) - Media Guru Communications wins an award of distinction in the 15th Annual Communicator Awards competition sanctioned by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA).

The Wake Forest based communications and marketing firm was honored for a Carolina Country magazine article, "The Tillery Story", which highlighted the inception of rural electrification in the northeast region of North Carolina, and its impact on farmers in Tillery, a small predominantly African American community served by Roanoke Electric Cooperative.

The Communicator Awards received over 7,000 entries from the United States and the world, and is the largest, most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.

The Communicator Awards are judged and overseen by the IAVA, a 200+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
